Queenie von Berg is a beautiful plush coat 4 year old German Shepherd.  Our volunteer went out to a shelter in the high desert to get another dog and saw Queenie and her pup, Chutney; she could not leave these sweet girls behind.  Queenie was so happy to see that her pup was going to be rescued, too; she rode all the way to boarding with her head on the volunteer’s shoulder.  Queenie has some basic training; she can sit and lay down on command.  She loves to give you kisses and wants to be close to you.  We would like to place Queenie and Chutney together as they are very attached to each other, but would consider separate homes. Queenie looks at each passing visitor and car, hoping to recognize someone that will take her home. She longs for the comfort of being someone's cherished companion one again.   Come meet Queenie and see for yourself what a sweet and loving dog she is.
